Mosaic in high-relief
Going furtner with his technique, Gaëtan D'Arcy is working on a grandiose high-relief mosaic that will measure approximately 6 feet in diameter. In fact, it is a reproduction of the "Aztec Calendar", a sculpture created by way of a monument to the sun. The fresco's numerous symbols have been representative throughout history and remains a national pride for the mexican pepole. According to the legend, it predicts the end of the 5th era for december 2012.
